Iringa basket black natural


Handwoven baskets made by traditional local craftsman in Tanzania. The materials used for weaving the baskets are called Natural Reeds, also known as Milulu Grass in local name and are gathered in swamp areas and riverbanks. These Baskets have been weaved by Hehe and Bena tribes in Iringa Region - Southern Highlands of Tanzania. These baskets are produced to support weavers (100% done by women) to realize income that will support their families.
