Al Bahr Towers are a pair of iconic office skyscrapers in Abu Dhabi, known for their striking, futuristic design and smart façade technology.

They were completed in 2012 and serve as the headquarters for the Abu Dhabi Investment Council. What really sets them apart is their dynamic shading system: the exterior is covered with over 1,000 geometric panels that automatically open and close in response to sunlight. This reduces heat and glare, helping cut energy use an innovative approach inspired by traditional Islamic mashrabiya screens.

Each tower rises about 145 meters (29 floors), and their rounded shape combined with the moving façade gives them a distinctive, almost “breathing” appearance throughout the day.

Returns Policy
