Urban nest is a dynamic, fast-growing home décor, furniture, and lifestyle company, curating unique, sustainable, and story-driven pieces from leading European design brands. We are seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to join our team based in Riyadh and drive growth across retail, interior projects, and B2B partnerships.

This role is ideal for someone who understands design and interiors, but also has a strong sales-driven mindset, capable of spotting opportunities, building relationships, and representing multiple premium brands across Saudi Arabia.


Responsibilities

Retail & Commercial Development

  • Proactively identify and secure new retail partnerships with key, prominent outlets across Saudi Arabia.
  • Develop commercial opportunities for our brands, ensuring visibility and strategic placement in high-profile stores.
  • Engage with sustainability-focused initiatives and projects where our brands can add value.
  • Act as the main contact for interior projects, collaborating closely with designers, architects, and specifiers.
  • Present and pitch brand concepts, curated product selections, and tailored proposals to potential clients and partners.

B2B Sales & Client Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with designers, architects, developers, and trade professionals.
  • Support clients throughout the procurement process, from floor plans and FF&E packages to product selection and project delivery.
  • Manage quotations, timelines, and specifications, coordinating with internal operations and logistics teams.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline through CRM and proactive follow-up to meet and exceed targets.

Marketing & Brand Representation

  • Represent urban nest and our partner brands at trade shows, events, and showroom presentations.
  • Position the brands as premium, sustainable, and design-driven in all communications.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities for growth.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in retail business development, interior design sales, or project-based design environments.
  • Proven track record of proactively generating and closing sales opportunities.
  • Knowledge of FF&E, spatial planning, materials, lighting, and specification processes.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills; fluent in English and Arabic is a must.
  • Sales-focused, energetic, and self-motivated, with a hands-on approach to client engagement.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design tools is a plus.
  • Must be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and willing to travel to the other GCC countries.
  • Available to work full-time.
