From 5 to 9 November, we had the absolute pleasure of participating in Downtown Design Dubai 2025 during the Dubai Design Week and what an incredible experience it was.
For us, this fair marked a special milestone. Since being founded in 2017, urban nest made its debut appearance at Downtown Design with our very own stand B6. It was a proud moment to share our story, our brands, and our vision with such a diverse audience of design lovers, architects, and buyers from across the region and beyond.
We truly enjoyed every moment from meeting interior designers from the Middle East to having inspiring conversations with visitors from Kenya, Tanzania, India and more. Downtown Design once again proved to be a melting pot of cultures, creativity and collaboration.
A stand designed to inspire
Our stand was curated as a complete experience rather than simply a display. We presented a collection of distinctive European brands including HKLIVING, Hübsch Design, Oi Soi Oi, Kalager and Dopper, showing how these collections translate beautifully into both homes and commercial environments.
To elevate the space even further, we collaborated with Nordic Homeworks featuring Kahrs wooden floors. The warm textures and premium finishes created depth, atmosphere and a setting that truly brought our collections to life.
Visitors loved exploring our world of lighting, unique objects and furniture and those were also the most requested product categories throughout the fair. We cannot wait to see our designs being used in restaurants, hotels, offices and concept spaces across the UAE.
Featured beyond our stand
One of our proudest surprises was seeing three of our statement chairs featured in this year’s Downtown Design Cafe, curated by The Creator and Curator. This immersive pop up explored the idea that we do not just sit by chance we sit in character. From mismatched chairs to bold colors, each seat invited reflection, interaction and fun.
And if you did not walk past our stand, you definitely still saw us. urban nest was also featured across large digital screens and all 32 elevators in d3 thanks to Art in the Middle Magazine, making our presence part of the wider Dubai Design Week experience.
From fair to showroom
Today, our collections are loved by homes across the UAE and increasingly by hospitality and commercial spaces too.
