The first pieces of the HKLIVING Artist Collection have arrived in Dubai, marking an exciting new chapter at urban nest, the official distributor of HKLIVING in the Middle East.
Launching in our Dubai showroom on 27 January, this initial delivery introduces selected highlights from HKLIVING’s most expressive collection to date. Additional pieces from the collection are expected to arrive in March, allowing the story to continue to unfold over the coming months.
This launch is not about following trends. It is about celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and interiors that feel personal and intentional.
A Tribute to the Artist’s Eye
The Artist Collection is HKLIVING’s most ambitious and expressive collection so far, comprising over 300 carefully developed pieces. Drawing
inspiration from dusty ateliers, sunlit workshops, and the rhythm of slow craft, the collection is shaped by contrast and thoughtful restraint.
Materials play against one another in subtle yet powerful ways. Scorched wood meets softened metals, while ceramics take on fluid, fabric-like forms. Each piece feels tactile and expressive, yet never overworked. Everything has been designed with care, intention, and a clear artistic point of view.
The Expanded 70s Ceramics Collection
At the heart of the Artist Collection is the expanded 70s Ceramics range, featuring nearly 100 new pieces. Known for their rich glazes, organic shapes, and bold character, these ceramics are designed to be used every day while still feeling special.
Each piece adds warmth and individuality to a space, making them ideal unique home accessories for those who enjoy mixing colours, textures, and styles. Whether styled on open shelves or used at the table, the collection brings personality and ease into everyday living.
New Classics: Timeless Forms Reimagined
Another highlight of the collection is New Classics, a sculptural range of expressive platters, generous bowls, and decorative objects. Inspired by classical design, these pieces feel familiar at first glance, yet are reinterpreted through contemporary materials and unexpected colour palettes.
The result is a collection that feels timeless but modern, refined yet approachable. These objects work effortlessly across different interior styles, from minimal and modern to layered and character-filled spaces.

For the first time, HKLIVING introduces artwork as a central element within the collection. Wall pieces, ceramic sculptures, and hybrid objects blur the line between art and interior design, inviting emotion and personal interpretation.

Completing the collection is a series of refined mood-makers, including sculptural candleholders, richly coloured kitchen textiles, and scented diffusers, designed to subtly transform the atmosphere of a space.

An Artist’s Studio Inside Our Dubai Showroom
To mark the launch, urban nest has transformed its showroom in Dubai into an immersive, art-led environment.
In collaboration with design studio IDST, the space has been reimagined as a lived-in artist’s studio. The installation feels personal and layered, as though the artist has just stepped away for a moment.
Soft, textured walls finished in Bauwerk Limewash by Safi Studio (Bloodwork ref. 107/32) set the tone, while a special wooden floor by Nordic Homeworks grounds the space with warmth and material honesty.
Objects are arranged with natural ease, layers of texture and colour build over time, and imperfections are embraced. The result is an environment that feels authentic, creative, and quietly inspiring.
